Pioneer Health Albany
We are a young, dynamic team working in a growing practice.
Our doctors are supported by practice nurses, management
and clerical staff all providing high quality care to our
patients. We have recently moved to a new 'state of the art',
medical centre, with 9 consulting rooms & procedure rooms.
Pioneer Health Albany has a focus on education and teaching,
we actively support the registrar training program, rural clinical
school and medical student attachments.
All Pioneer Health Albany doctors have admitting rights to
the local hospital. There are opportunities to practice procedural
skills in obstetrics, anaesthetics and minor surgery, emergency
medicine (1 in 16 on call), as well as other specialities such
as sports medicine, occupational medicine and palliative care.
There are plans for a private medical facility in Albany, this
will be co-located at Albany Regional Hospital and includes
a day surgery unit. |
