Dr
John Cooper MBBS, FACRRM
John is a WA Medical Graduate (1978). He has had a varied Medical
career including working up north and interstate. John moved
to Albany with his wife and 3 boys 16 years ago. John's special
interests include geriatric, travel medicine and immigration
medicals. When not working he indulges his loves of fishing,
walking and reading. In 2008 John some of the time will be
working away in rural and remote Australia doing locums. |

Dr
Brian Cunningham MBBS, DRANZCOG, FRACGP, Dip. Rural Med
Brian graduated from UWA in 1994. He moved to Albany with his
family in 2003, prior to that he spent 2 years in the Kimberley.
Interests include Anaesthetics, Emergency Medicine, Trauma,
Asthma, Adolescent Health, and Palliative Care. He is also
involved in teaching medical students. Hobbies include cycling,
hiking and photography. In 2007 Brian did a 5 week locum on
Cocos (Keeling) Islands. It was so relaxing he suggested Dr
John Cooper also go. In 2008 both John and Brian are keen to
return for further locums. |

Dr
David Tadj MBBS (Qld), FRACGP, DRANZCOG, FARGP
David is a Queensland medical graduate. He has trained in obstetrics
(including caesarean sections) and has a special interest in
this area. His other areas of interest include preventative
medicine, mental health, chronic fatigue and skin cancer surgery.
David married in September of 06, and the couple have a young
son. In his spare time David enjoys fishing, reading and cooking.
He speaks fluent German. |

Dr
Airell Hodgkinson MBBS FRACGP GDRGP DTM&H DCH and DRANZCOG
Airell joined the practice in January 2006 after spending the
previous 4 years in the north of WA in Karratha and Kununurra.
His medical experience includes anaesthetics, paediatrics,
travel/tropical medicine and aviation medicals. Airell is also
a member of Australian Society of Aerospace Medicine and has
a keen interest in aviation. Outside of work, he spends time
with family and outdoor pursuits such as bushwalking, fishing
and camping. |

Shaza Salleh MBBS, FRACGP, DFFP
Shaza joined Pioneer Health Albany in June 2006. She consults
on Thursday and Fridays. Her interests are women’s health,
family planning and medicals (pre employment, aviation, immigration
and seaman’s). |

Dr Christine Archer MBBS, FRACGP
Christine is a WA Medical Graduate. She has recently moved
to Denmark from Perth and is currently consulting on Mondays
and Tuesdays. She has special interests in Workers Compensation
injury management, pre employment and preventative health.
She enjoys keeping fit, cooking and growing vegies. |

Stephen Lee BM BS, B Med Sci, Dip Obs, FRACGP
Steve graduated in Nottingham, England then moved to Australia
via New Zealand where he practiced for 4years. He has been
in Albany since 2003 after working with Royal Flying Doctor
Service in Perth. Special medical interests include skin cancer
and emergency medicine. Other interests include sailing, kite
surfing, wind surfing, cycling and soccer. He and his wife
Allison have 2 boys aged 5 and 7. |

James Turner MBBS(UWA), DCH
James is a UWA medical graduate. He is currently a WAGPET registrar
who joined us at Pioneer Health Albany in 2007. He is married
to Sian and they have a 15 month old daughter, Jessica. James
is also a musician and enjoys renovating, running and outdoor
activities like hiking and camping. |

Sarah Booker MBBS, DRANZCOG, DCH
Sarah graduated from UWA in 2004. She is currently a WAGPET
registrar and will be at Pioneer health for 12 months. She
has a special interest in obstetrics, womens and children's
health. She has just moved to Albany with her husband in 2008.
She enjoys spending time with family, bushwalking, music, bike-riding
and gardening. |

Tanya Crabb
Tanya is a Registered Nurse having graduated in 2000 from ECU.
She has worked in medical and surgical wards in Derby and Albany
hospital and General Practice since 2003. Tanya has certificates
in Immunisation, Well Womens Health and Asthma Education. Her
interests include boating, bushwalking, gardening and the beach. |

NURSE
Teresa Ayres
Teresa commenced with the practice in 2004. She is the Practice
Nurse for 1 day per week and visits the homes of over 75yr
old performing Health Assessments on some of the other days.
Teresa has lived in Albany most of her life and started nursing
at ARH in 1989. She has also worked at Glen Craig Nursing Village.
Teresa lives on a cattle farm with husband and 3 primary age
children. Her interests include outdoor activities, family
activities, local Volunteer Fire Brigade and Playgroup. |

Sarah Scott
Sarah joined the practice in late 2007. She graduated in 2004
from ECU with a Bachelor of Nursing, then went onto Post Graduate
studies in Community and Child Health through Curtin University.
Sarah moved from Perth to Albany in 2006 with her family. Her
hobbies include painting and photography. |

OFFICE MANAGER
Denise Fisher
Denise has been with the practice since 1999 as a medical receptionist.
She took up a management position in July 2005, then the role
of Practice Office Manager later that year. Her interests include
spending time with her family, walking and enjoying Albany’s
great beaches. |

MANAGER AND GP RECRUITMENT
Bronwyn Alley
Bronwyn joined the practice in 2001 as a medical receptionist.
She has worked in a number of medical and allied health practices
in Albany. Bronwyn took up the position of Financial Management
and GP Recruitment in August 2005. She is a keen swimmer and
cyclist. |
