Dr
Brian Cunningham MBBS, DRANZCOG, FRACGP, Dip. Rural Med
Brian graduated from UWA in 1994. He moved to Albany with his
family in 2003, before then they spent three years in the Kimberley.
Interests include anaesthetics, emergency medicine, trauma,
asthma, adolescent health and palliative care. He is also involved
in teaching medical students at Rural Clinical School, UWA,
Albany. Hobbies include cycling, hiking, camping and photography.
Ambitions for 2009 include a family trip to Karijini, and cycling
on Victoria’s Great Ocean Road. |

Dr
David Tadj MBBS (Qld), FRACGP, DRANZCOG, FARGP
David is a Queensland medical graduate. He has trained in obstetrics
(including caesarean sections) and has a special interest in
this area. His other areas of interest include preventative
medicine, mental health, chronic fatigue and skin cancer surgery.
David married in September of 06, and the couple have a young
son. In his spare time David enjoys fishing, reading and cooking.
He speaks fluent German. |

Airell Hodgkinson MBBS FRACGP GDRGP DTM&H DCH and DRANZCOG
Airell joined the practice in January 2006 after spending the
previous 4 years in the north of WA in Karratha and Kununurra.
His medical experience includes anaesthetics, paediatrics,
travel/tropical medicine and aviation medicals. Airell is also
a member of Australian Society of Aerospace Medicine and has
a keen interest in aviation. Outside of work, he spends time
with family and outdoor pursuits such as bushwalking, fishing
and camping. |

Shaza Salleh MBBS, FRACGP, DFFP
Shaza joined Pioneer Health Albany in June 2006. She consults
on Thursday and Fridays. Her interests are women's health,
family planning and medicals (pre employment, aviation, immigration
and seaman's). |

Christine Archer MBBS, FRACGP
Christine is a WA Medical Graduate. She has moved to Denmark
from Perth and is currently consulting on Mondays and Tuesdays.
She has special interests in workers compensation injury management,
pre employment and preventative health. She enjoys keeping
fit, cooking, and growing vegies. |

Stephen Lee BM BS, B Med Sci, Dip Obs, FRACGP
Steve graduated in Nottingham, England then moved to Australia
via New Zealand where he practiced for 4years. He has been
in Albany since 2003 after working with Royal Flying Doctor
Service in Perth. Special medical interests include skin cancer
and emergency medicine. Other interests include sailing, kite
surfing, wind surfing, cycling and soccer. He and his wife
Allison have two boys. |

Imaging, FRACGP
James, Sian and their young daughter moved to Albany in 2007,
and since then another daughter has arrived. James has a special
interest in skin cancer surgery. Outside of general practice,
James enjoys music, jogging, gardening and outdoor activities. |

Sarah graduated from UWA in 2004. She has a special interest
in obstetrics, womens and children's health. She moved to Albany
with her husband in 2008. She enjoys spending time with family,
bushwalking, music, bike-riding and gardening. |

Christine Oosterhuis MBBS (Hons)
Christine is currently a WAGPET registrar who will be at Pioneer
Health for 12 months. Christine is also undertaking a Master
of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. She enjoys bushwalking,
fishing, camping, music and foreign languages. |

Tania Botha
Tania qualified in Pretoria in 1990, and emigrated to Mt Barker in 2002, where she practiced for 7 years. She enjoys all aspects of general practice. Tania and her husband have four children so there isn’t much time left for hobbies, but she enjoys walking, having a coffee with friends, and gardening. |

Tanya Crabb
Tanya is a Registered Nurse having graduated in 2000 from ECU.
She has worked in medical and surgical wards in Derby and Albany
hospital and General Practice since 2003. Tanya has certificates
in Immunisation, Well Womens Health and Asthma Education. Her
interests include boating, bushwalking, gardening and the beach. |

Sarah Scott
Sarah joined the practice in late 2007. She graduated in 2004
from ECU with a Bachelor of Nursing, then went onto Post Graduate
studies in Community and Child Health through Curtin University.
Sarah moved from Perth to Albany in 2006 with her family. Her
hobbies include painting and photography. |

Jennifer
McGonnell
Jennifer graduated from enrolled nursing in 1984, and worked
at Albany Regional Hospital for 14 years, enjoying theatre
and sterilising. She also worked at Glenn Graig Nursing Home.
She is our Home Health Assessment nurse, for clients 75 and
over, since October 2008. Interests include gardening and fishing
with her family. |

Verity
Grace graduated as a Registered Nurse in 2004 and since then
has worked in palliative care and community nursing, before
joining Pioneer Health in early 2008. As well as practice nursing,
Grace has edited and updated our website. Outside of nursing,
she enjoys kitchen gardening, family time and cycling. |

Denise Fisher
Denise has been with the practice since 1999 as a medical receptionist.
She took up a management position in July 2005, then the role
of Practice Office Manager later that year. Her interests include
spending time with her family, walking and enjoying Albany's
great beaches. |

MANAGER AND GP RECRUITMENT
Bronwyn Alley
Bronwyn joined the practice in 2001 as a medical receptionist.
She has worked in a number of medical and allied health practices
in Albany. Bronwyn took up the position of Financial Management
and GP Recruitment in August 2005. She is a keen swimmer and
cyclist. |
