Pioneer Drive-Through Respiratory Clinic

The Pioneer Respiratory Clinic can provide adults and children who have respiratory symptoms with assessment and testing as well as treatment for COVID-19. Medical certificates, referrals and most scripts can be provided at the clinic. 

Patients who have any of the following symptoms can see a GP by making an appointment at our clinic:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Sore throat
  • Runny or stuffy nose
  • Shortness of breath

This clinic is by appointment only. You can book an appointment online or by calling the clinic on 9892 0480. The Pioneer Respiratory Clinic is open on weekdays from 9am – 12 noon and is located at the northern end of the Pioneer Health Carpark, accessed by driving to the end of the carpark and following the signs.

 

Fees. Fees will apply as per our standard practice policy.

As we do not have payment facilities at our Respiratory Clinic you will be required to enter your credit card details to complete your booking. These details are stored securely and will only be debited according to the scheduled fee, AFTER the consultation has been completed.

If your banking details are registered with Medicare, any applicable rebate will be processed and deposited into your nominated account. Please note: we will process a $1 payment which will immediately be refunded for card validation purposes.

When to Call Triple Zero (000)

Please call triple zero (000) and ask for an ambulance if the person needing an appointment has any of these symptoms:

  • Rapid and/or difficulty breathing
  • Pain on breathing
  • Confusion
  • Skin feels unusually cold and sweaty, patchy discoloration or excessively pale skin
  • Central or crushing chest pain
  • Unconsciousness or suffering a seizure (fit)
  • Turning blue
  • Badly bleeding
  • Victim of a severe accident.

People who meet any of the following criteria are encouraged to book a telehealth appointment with their regular GP in the first instance: over 70, or over 50 and identifies as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background, or has a long term health condition, or pregnant or a parent of a child under 12 months. If telehealth is not possible for you, consider booking one of the appointment times at this respiratory clinic.
